Privacy Policy
Momly is a free digital service consisting of a mobile application and related web pages. The project administration provides access on an “as is” basis and is not liable for possible damage, lost profits, interruptions in third-party services including Firebase, Google, and telecommunications providers, or the actions of other users. By using Momly, you confirm that you understand and accept these limitations.
1. Who we are
Momly enables moms to meet and communicate. The data processing operator for the product is the person or organization identified in the official project contact details; the section at the end of this document will be completed after legal formalization. This policy describes the general principles for handling information in the current technical architecture, including Firebase and related Google services.
2. Free nature of the service
Momly is provided free of charge for access to the main features in the version available when you use it. This means you do not acquire a right to continuous or error-free operation. Access may be changed, restricted, or discontinued without prior notice unless mandatory law in your country expressly requires otherwise.
3. Data that may be processed
Depending on how you use the app, the following information may be processed:
- Account data: email address, hashed or otherwise protected credentials, and your identifier in the authentication system.
- Profile: name, description, interests, age information about children if you provide it, and a region or area that you voluntarily add to your profile.
- Media: profile photos uploaded to storage such as Firebase Storage until you delete them.
- Technical data: device type, operating-system version, interface language, diagnostic events, and IP address, which may be used for security and analytics.
- Analytics data: when the website is used, Google Analytics or Firebase Analytics may be enabled to understand visits, if the corresponding configuration is present in the app and website.
4. Purposes of processing
Data is used for registration and sign-in, displaying your profile to other users according to your settings, operating chats and notifications, improving service stability and quality, preventing abuse, and complying with legal requirements where applicable.
5. Transfer and processing by authorized providers
The service uses Google Firebase cloud products, including authentication, database services, website hosting, and other components where needed. Processing may take place on servers in different jurisdictions under Google's terms and the selected project settings. The Momly administration does not control Google's infrastructure and is not responsible for its outages, policy changes, or availability.
6. Cookies and local storage
The web version may use browser and storage mechanisms to remember the selected language and support analytics. You can restrict cookies in your browser settings, although some features may then work differently.
7. Retention period
Data is retained while your account exists and while it is needed for the purposes described above, or until you delete the information in the app, taking account of backups and technical delays in cloud deletion.
8. Security
We use measures customary in the industry, such as protection for communication channels when Firebase services are used and data-access rules. However, absolute online safety cannot be guaranteed. You are responsible for keeping your password and device secure.
9. Limitation of liability for data
Under no circumstances are the Momly project administration, its participants, or affiliated persons liable for direct or indirect damage, including loss of data, reputational harm, or lost profits caused by use of or inability to use the service, actions of other users or third parties, or force majeure. To the maximum extent permitted by law, liability is limited to zero or the minimum amount if a complete exclusion is not permitted.
10. Your rights
Depending on the law of your country, including GDPR where applicable, you may have rights to access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, to object or request data portability. To make a request, use the contact that will be published after the project's final formalization. We may ask for identity confirmation.
11. Children
The service is not intended for independent use by children without parental involvement. Do not post excessive personal data about minors.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this document. The current version is published on the website with its date. Continued use after changes means acceptance of the revised version unless prohibited by law.
13. Contact
For Privacy Policy questions, after the project's official details are published, insert the email or postal address of the data processing operator here.
